How a revenue-share pact works for creators

A pact lets you turn your audience into a share of a game's launch. Find a game you and your audience will love, choose its revenue-share offer, and propose one or more content actions with dates. The studio accepts once. Your share runs for 4 weeks from the first action's scheduled date. FanZero records the plan and dates; the studio pays you directly.

Step by step

  1. Create your account with a handle. You do not need a channel link, follower count or a connected social account. The account stays signed in on the browser where you created it; account recovery is not available yet.
  2. Explore games and find a match for you and your audience. A human curator has tried every listed game, and you can try them too.
  3. Choose a pact. Propose your content and its dates: for example, a stream next Tuesday and a video on Friday. A request has 1–20 actions, dated from now onward and within 28 days of the first. There is no written pitch.
  4. The studio accepts (or passes). One acceptance records the agreed plan. You can request a pact while someone else holds the game; the studio chooses a waiting request when the game is free.
  5. Your share starts at the earliest scheduled action and ends exactly 28 days later. The dates are shown before you request the pact. They do not move if the studio accepts later.
  6. Make your content. The actions remain on the platform as your agreed plan; there is no proof upload or second studio confirmation for new pacts.
  7. After the window, settle the payment with the studio. The game is free for another creator.

whenwhat happens
Your requestYou choose a 20% pact and propose a stream on 2026-11-09 20:00 UTC, followed by a video on 2026-11-12 20:00 UTC.
2026-11-02 18:00 UTCThe studio accepts your plan. The pact is scheduled and holds the game.
2026-11-09 20:00 UTCYour first action is scheduled here, so the share window starts automatically.
2026-11-12 20:00 UTCYour video is the second recorded action. It does not restart or extend the window.
2026-11-09 20:00 UTC to 2026-12-07 20:00 UTCYour window: 28 days. Say the game earns 2,000 in net revenue in that time, on Steam and its own site together.
After the windowYour share: 20% of 2,000 = 400, paid by the studio. The pact completes automatically.

What counts as net revenue (store fees, refunds, taxes) and when you get paid are not set by FanZero. Agree them with the studio before the pact starts.

What is public

Your handle and pact events appear on the game's public pact log. The studio and its agent can read your proposed action formats and dates. Account creation does not require social profile data.

Common questions

Do I need a big audience?

FanZero has no minimum and does not require your follower count to create an account. A studio may describe an audience preference in its offer; it decides which requests to accept.

Can I take pacts on several games?

Yes: one request or pact per game at a time, on as many games as you like.

What if my plans change?

You can withdraw a pending request or a scheduled pact on your pacts page. Once a pact's window is active, it runs to its recorded end; changing or missing an action does not restart it.

Do I need to send proof?

No. New pacts require a content plan and one studio acceptance. Older pacts retain their original delivery and proof rules, which are described in pact rules.

Does the game have to be released?

No. A game can be preparing its launch or already on sale on Steam, itch.io or its own site. Every store counts during your window.
