How to reach us
- Email: marcos@dupla-lab.com, our single point of contact for users under the EU Digital Services Act (article 12).
- Post: Marcos Recolons Lopez-Pinto, Carrer de Sor Eulàlia d'Anzizu, 5, 08034 Barcelona, Spain.
- Languages: English or Spanish. Puedes escribirnos en español.
Tell us your studio's name or your @handle, and link the game if it's about one. Never send us your API key. We'll never ask for it.
Quick answers:
- A leaked key: tell us at once. Until you do, whatever is done with it counts as done by your studio, unless it leaked through our fault (terms).
- A pact or settlement disagreement is between the studio and the influencer: we don't judge it or move money (terms). Faked figures are worth a report.
- A bug in our AI agent plugins: open a public GitHub issue, without keys or personal details.
For authorities
Authorities of EU Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services can reach us at marcos@dupla-lab.com, our single point of contact under article 11 of the Digital Services Act, in English or Spanish. Orders to act against illegal content or to provide information (articles 9 and 10) go there too. Our full details are in the legal notice.
Report illegal content
Anyone can report anything on FanZero they think is illegal, from a listing, preview, handle or chat message to a copyright or trademark infringement or an impersonation. Things that break our terms or listing guidelines, like unlabelled pact content, count too.
Email marcos@dupla-lab.com with "Report" in the subject and include:
- Where it is: the exact address, such as
https://fanzero.app/game/<name>or a/play/address, and which part. For a chat message: the game, the other side and when it was sent. - Why it's illegal: as clearly as you can, naming the law if you know it. For copyright or a trademark, say which work or mark, and that it's yours or you act for its owner.
- Who you are: your name and email address.
- That you mean it: "I believe in good faith that the information and claims in this report are accurate and complete."
Child sexual abuse or exploitation, including abuse images and grooming: you don't have to say who you are, and you can write from an address that doesn't identify you. Never attach or forward the images or files, just tell us where they are. You can also go straight to the police.
We can only remove things from FanZero, so report copies elsewhere (a stream, a video, a store page, an image a listing loads from another site) to those sites too.
What happens next:
- We confirm we got it.
- A person looks at it, fairly and objectively, and may ask you or the poster for more.
- We decide promptly, anything that could put someone at risk first.
- We tell you what we decided, why, and how to challenge it.
- No automated tool decides a report.
We don't tell the person you reported who you are, unless it's strictly necessary (in a copyright dispute, say) or a court or authority orders it. We may show them what your report says about their content.
If anything makes us suspect a crime that threatens someone's life or safety, we promptly tell the police of the EU country concerned (in Spain, the Policía Nacional) or, when that's unclear, the Spanish police, Europol or both.
If we restrict something of yours
When we restrict something of yours (sending back, rejecting or delisting a game, removing content, renaming a handle, restricting or closing an account, blocking a key), we tell you by the time it takes effect, unless an authority tells us to wait:
- what we did and for how long (everywhere: we don't restrict by country);
- the facts, and whether a report, an authority's order or our own checks started it;
- whether automated tools were involved;
- the rule or law it breaks, and why;
- how to challenge it.
Studios see it on the studio desk and in the API (get_review, list_my_games or the refused call's error). When a person decides, we also email their contact, if it's an email address. Influencers get it at an email we have for them or, if they ask, once we're sure the account is theirs.
Some measures are automatic. Our checks can send back or refuse a game, build or edit. Editing a listed game that has no preview delists it until the curator approves it again. A settlement past its due date, or a dispute left 14 days without a revision, pauses a studio's approvals. Each time, the answer says why. Think one got it wrong? Email us and a person will look.
Challenge a decision
Email us with "Challenge" in the subject within 6 months of a decision about your content, account or report. Say which decision and why it's wrong, and attach anything that helps. It's free. A person looks again and tells you the outcome and why. If we got it wrong, we undo it.
Whether or not you challenge first, you can also turn to:
- the courts: our terms say which, and cover mediation for studios;
- a consumer body: we're not in any consumer dispute-resolution scheme, so if we can't solve a consumer's complaint, our written answer names a body that could and says whether we'll take part;
- the Digital Services Coordinator where you live or are established. Spain has named the Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC), though no Spanish law yet gives it the powers to act on complaints;
- a data protection authority: the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or the one where you live or work (privacy policy).
